SMART ARRESTS.
BURGLARY AT OHAUPO.
TWO MEN IN CUSTODY,
GOODS REPORTED RECOVERED
As the result of smart work by Detectives A. J. White and C. P. Belton of Hamilton in co-operation with detectives in Auckland, two men were arrested in Auckland on Saturday in connection with the burglarly on the premises of the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, at O h a up o. The store was broken into on Wednesday evening and goods valued at about £GO were removed- The two detectives from Hamilton were on the scene the following morning and as a result of their investigations they got in touch with detectives in Auckland advising them of the probable suspects. It is understood that most of the stolen goods have been recovered.
