SAFE BLOWN OPEN.
THIEVES OBTAIN .£3B. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTER TON, Friday. The sum of £3B was secured by burglars in the early hours of this morning when they blew open Ihe safe in Hie Fcathcrston County Council office at Alartinborougli.
It appeared to he the work of professionals, the sound of Hie' explosion being deadened with mats, sacks, etc. Two cash boxes were smashed to pieces and papers were strewn around.
