KING’S OLD BOYS.

SUCCESSFUL REUNION. WAIKATO CONTINGENT. The annual reunion of King’s College Old Boys at Auckland during the week-end was again a great success. Many country old boys spent the night at the college at Middlemore. After the annual business meeting members adjourned for supper in the beautiful dining-hall at the college. Yesterday’s functions opened with a service at the memorial chapel at which the preacher was Archbishop Averill. Old boys were the guests of the Board- of Governors at dinner after which a presentation was made to the Rev. 11. If. Archdall, the headmaster, who recently resigned, and Mrs Archdall; St. John’s College, Tamaki, and King’s School, Rernuera, were then visited.

Among the Waikato old hoys who attended the reunion were Messrs. C. 11. Leighton, E. G. Sare, lb N.Tlallett, and C. C. Tidmarsh (Hamilton), 11. A. Swarbriek, S. A. Empson and H. Empson (Te Awamutu), J. B. Jackson (Raglan), Innes-Jones and 11. T. Morton (Te Ifuiti). The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Lord Galway; president, Mr 11. Gibbons; vice-presidents, Mr A- B. Rainger and Air S. J. Hanna; immediate pastpresident, the Rev. Jasper Calder; committee, seniors, Messrs B. 11. ■Kingston, R. King, G. G. Palmer; juniors, Messrs. T. 11. G. Caughey, W. S. Smith, J. D. Lewis: lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr G. H. Balgcr; representative at college, Mr V. F. .Maxwell; magazine editors, Messrs. A. B. Rainger and I. S. 11. Palmer; lion, auditors, Messrs. C. G. Burry and G. S Pierce.
