ST. PAUL’S LADIES’ GUILD.
80CIAL EVENING. An Interesting hour was spent on Thursday afternoon in the churoh parlour, with business, musio and afternoon tea. The forthcoming circuit rally on July 10 promises well. On Monday the Ladies’ Guild held an evening social In aid of circuit funds in the school hall. The time passed pleasantly with music, elocutionary items and old-time games. Those contributing items Included Misses Wilkie, Valerie Nicolas, Mary Evans, Jean and Cecilia McLachlan, Master McLachlan and Mrs McLachlan. The accompanists were Mesdames Arthur and McLachlan and Miss Hilda Grice.
A hearty vote of thanks was aocorded by Mr Cague to all responsible Xor the evening’s entertainment. .
