Chlkt Artist’s Success The Royal Drawing Society is holding its annual exhibition at the Guildhall Art Gallery (wrote* a London correspondent on April 13). Children from all parts of the world have sent their work, among them being 'Molly iMacallster, aged 14, of Invercargill.. Her picture of her Aberdeen terrier, " Alexander,” has been selected to decorate the cover of iiie catalogue. She wins I lie silver star of the society in the. elementary snapshot drawing class for her animal drawings. These include Alexander scaled —-the picture that rightly finds favour, for il is a charming study; Alexander not enjoying a swim: Alexander contemplating • lie remains of a tattered garment; Alexander being rebuked; and Alexander roiling with pleasure.
