MEAT BOARD.
NEW MEMBER APPOINTED MR JONES’ SUCCESSOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The appointment of Mr A. S. Holms, of Waimahaka, Southland, to the New Zealand Meat ; Producers’ ‘Board was announced by the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. C. E. Macmillan, following a meeting of Cabinet this afternoon. Mr Holms succeeds Mr David Jones as Government nominee on the board, Mr Jones having resigned, following his recent appointment as a member of the Executive Commission of Agriculture.
