PLEASANT EVENING.

AT NGABUAWAHIA. In honour of Miss Dawn Mitchell, of Auckland, who is visiting Ngaruawahia, a delightful evening was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs 0. J. Tuck, Hamilton Hoad, recently. The room was prettily decorated with bowls of autumn roses and bronze-shaded chrysanthemums. The guests were received by Mrs Tuck, who wore a dress of black floral crepe de chine, assisted by Miss D. Tuck, who wore blue flat crepe. 'The guest of honour was wearing a frock of field flower georgette. Among those present were:—Misses E. Ferguson, V. Edge, M. McGruer, M. Gerring, G. Bell, Rev. 8001, Dr. D'Arcy.
