KING’S JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS. Arrangements in connection with the King’s .Silver Jubilee celebrations in Huntly are well in hand. A business moil’s committee comprising Messrs. G. A. Shaw (chairman), 11. Meyer (secretary), Hopkins, 0. J-\ It. Keith, E. Smith and If. J. dial loner, lias been formed, and it is intended to make Hie town at attractive as •possible for Jubilee Aveckj, commencing Monday, May 0. The main street will be restooned with flags and coloured lights and the business people are to be asked to have their windows specially decorated Tor the occasion. Op Sunday evening,.May 5, a combined cluirch service will be bold In the Town Mail.

A programme or sports for Hie children lias been arranged for Monday afternoon, to he held in the Domain, before which ihe Mayor, Mr \V. O. H. George, will address Hie gathering. Afternoon tea will lie provided for the children, followed later bv a bonllre anil fireworks display. It lias been decided to make Friday evening a gala night, when the Ngaruawalita Band may be in aitendance.
