MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. INDIAN TEAM'S VISIT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Hockey Association was held to-night, Mr H. S. J. Goodman presiding. The report staled that the finances were in a satisfactory condition. Income exceeded expenditure by £ll2, which left the accumulated fund at. £430. Referring lo Iho visit of the Indian learn, the report said the team would be representative of Llie whole of India and certainly the besl team that had visited New Zealand. The association had had lo accept heavy financial responsibilities to arrange the tour, but it was hoped that the team would prove such an attraction that the response of the public would bo generous. Hockey should receive a great stimulus and the standard of play should be improved. The election of ofilcors resulted: — Patron, the Governor-General, Viscount Galway; president, Mr 11. S. J. Goodman; vice-presidents, the presidents of affiliated associations; treasurer, Mr P. N. (Juartermain; secretary, Mr W. H. Down; management ■committee, Messrs It. Gracic, H. Throp, A. F.
