SMOKE NUISANCE
CITY FIRM FINED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. For a breach of the Health Act, by causing a nuisance by smoke, the Morningside firm of K.D.V. Boxes, Ltd., in the Police Court this morning was fined £5 and incidental costs £5 Gs. The 'Mount Albert Borough Council prosecuted. The magistrate, Mr F. K. Hunt, expressed the opinion that ’the company, which pleaded guilty to a technical offence, could do something lo improve the position. “There is no reason why I lie people should suffer a nuisance,” lie added.
The case had been before the court on lliree occasions.
