KILLED BY FALL,
MAN OVER PRECIPICE. RESCUING A COMPANION. (py Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. In an effort to rescue a friend who had fallen over a bank close to the edgfs of a precipice near the Bealey Hotel, on the Ghristcliurch-West Coast road, Mr John Sutherland, married, of Christchurch, himself fell over the precipice and was killed. The body was recovered some hours later.
