PACT NEGOTIATIONS. SATISFACTORY PROGRESS. . United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright, (Reoeived Deo. 29, 9f35 a.m.) PARIS, Dec. 28. The Eranci-Italian pact negotiations have so far progressed that M. Laval, the French Foreign Minister, will; probably go to, Rome next xveek. The Qual d’Orsay says it hopes that M. Laval’s visit will not be possible before the Saar plebiscite, but thus far no decision has been reached.
