The Sun-Herald service says the postponement of the Federal C.abinet’s meat meeting excited little comment. It is. realised that a week’s delay will not seriously affect the situation. Large quantities of meat are already on the way to England. Despite ' Australian assertions that Britain is not fulfilling her Ottawa obligations it is claimed that Britain has Stimulated the Dominions’ meat exports and reduced foreign. The latest import figures show Britain’s meat imports from Australia for the eleven months, of 193.4, totalled £6,414,000 against £4,205,000, in 1932; and New Zealand’s £12,515,00.0, as against £10,542,000, whereas Argentine’s contribution was reduced from £21,290,000 to £17,102,000.
