MISHAP TO AEROPLANE
TURNS ON ITS BACK. THE PILOT NOT HURT. PALMERSTON N., Friday. When landing at the Milson aerodrome to-day after a flight from Wellington in a Motli aeroplane owned by the Wellington Aero Club, Mr Groombridge, who was en route to Feilding, was involved in a mishap which damaged the machine. The airman escaped practically unhurt. After touching the ground the aeroplane stood on its nose and turned over on Its back. The propeller was broken and the fuselage damaged by a thrust from the undercarriage. Two wings were crumpled and the rudder and stern post smashed.
