SEVERAL HORSES FALL. DUNEDIN, Thursday. As a result of the drizzling rain at Wingatui 10-day Hie going became greasy at the far turn of the course. The first mishap occurred in the principal race, Hie 3L. Andrew’s Handicap. After rounding Ihc far turn Polydora, who was moving up past Some Shamble, fell and, brought down Some Shamble and Ranclagli. Kirwan, rider of Polydora, broke-a collarbone. An inquiry was held into the accident and it was found that it was due to Hie slippery nature of the going. in the Allanton Handicap Chrysology fell at just about the place where the three horses came 'down in the principal event.
