WAIKATO DIOCESE.
NEW APPOINTMENTS. MAORI ARCHDEACON ILL. The following appbintments are an*, flounced by the Bishop of Waikato:. Archdeacon H. Haiti, of Huntly, 4s on sick leave until the end. of February. He is being relieved by canon K. A. Karaka, of Morrinsville. The Rev. W. T. F. Skey, of the Maori mission, has been appointed to be Rufat Dean of Te Kuiti by the Bishop. The Rev. j. m. Tempter, priest in charge of All Saints’, Uruti, has been appointed Vicar of that parochial district. The Rev. K. M. Hikairo, Maori missioher at Manunui, has been appointed Mabri mtssioner at Katlkati. The Rev. G. G. H. Phillips, Curate of St. Peter’s- Cathedral, lias been appointed priest in charge of St. Peter’s, Raglan. . The Rev. G. W. G. Griffin has been appointed priest in charge of Holy Trinity, Fitzroy, in succession to the Rev. W. S. C. Stephens. The Rev. H. S. Fusseil, vicar of Waltara, after an absence of 12 years from England, hopes to sail early in January for the United Kingdom. He will be on leave for six months. During his absence the Bishop’s diocesan chaplain, the Rev. C. W. Clark, k will take charge of Waitara parish. The Rev. J. W. Raine has been appointed priest in charge of St. John, Whangamompna. The Rev, R. s. G. Fusseil has been appointed priest in charge of All Saints,’ Kawliia. The Rev. J. M. Walters has been appointed priest in charge of St. Andrew’s, Ohura, with St. Michael’s, Matiere.
The Rev. C. S. Wall and the Rev. F. Middlebrook have been appointed priests in charge of Christ .Church, TaumarunuL
The Rev. B. 'Oxenbridge has been appointed by the Dean to be curate of St. Peter’s, Hamilton. 1
