BABY SUFFOCATED.
FOUND DEAD IN COT. TIIE INQUEST OPENED. The two-months-old son of Mr G. H. Miles, of Victoria Street, Hamilton, Charles Laurence Miles, was found dead in bis cot at 8 o'clock yesterday morning, death having been due to suffocation about an hour earlier. It is believed that the infant had turned over on his face during sleep and was unable to breathe. Evidence of identification was given at a coronial Inquiry opened before Air S. L. Paterson, 5.M.,, yesterday, and the inquest was adjourned sine die.
