THE GAME IN HAMILTON. boxing day matches. Progressive fours were played on the Whitiora bowling green yesterday, the good entry of 40 players participating. The successful skip was W. Howe, while K. Davan won in the leads’’ section, F. B. Booth, the seconds’, and B. C. Kemp, the thirds. To-day ‘24 players are engaged in a progressive pairs competition. On the Claudclands green yesterday 20 players contested progressive pairs, .!. Paterson winning I lie skips’ competition, and J. Hamilton being the successful lead. A successful one day full rink tournament was conducted yesterday by the Taupiri Club. In the final a Hamilton rink, Gamble, K. Paterson, Evans, and .). Smith (s) defeated Huntly, Short, Turton, Junior, Smith, and J. v Turton (s) by 6 points to 5.
