The Governor-General Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe are to-day attending the Auckland Racing Club’s Summer Meeting at Ellerslie.
The Ilorft Mr Justice E. M. Stephen, Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, arrived at Auckland by Ibe Monowai on Monday on a holiday visit lo the Dominion.
Dr. R. H. Betlington, of Sydney, the well-known cricketer and golfer, arrived at Auckland by the Monowai on Monday on a visit.
Mr Frank Hutchens, the well-known pianist of the Sydney Conservatorlum staff, is visiting Wanganui on holiday.'
.Mr W. R. Kcmball, of Wellington, formerly chairman and managingdirector of Kcmball Theatres Ltd., lias resigned bis -association with that company.
Among those present at the service attended by the Duke of Gloucester at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Auckland, yesterday morning, was the Hon. J. A. Young, Minister in charge of the Rojal tour.
Dr. Michael Kelly, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Sydney, nowin Ids 8i th year, is ill. His condition yesterday caused anxiety, but improved to-day..
