On the -course proper Grand Sport and Sporting Blood ran five furlongs in 1.4 4-5.

Variant and Penelope were associated over h-alf-a-mile in 51 l-ss.

Vintage 'got 'to the end l of a mile in 1.46 1-5, going well. Ha-ut Monde brushed over five furlongs in 1.2 2-5.

Gay Seton -over a similar journey cloaked 1.0 4-5. It was the best effort of the morning over the distance. Debham and Round Up ran five furlongs in 1.3 1-5.

Symcony, Legatee and Parquet left balf-a-mile behind 'in 50s. Tunneller and Final Shot were on terms at the conclusion of six furlongs in 1.21 4-5. n

Pomp and Gherry living, after running their first three in 38s, got- 'to the end of six furlongs in 1.17 4-5-King Ford slipped over two furlongs in 23 4-5 s and reached the five furlong peg in 1.1 3-5. Gaysome, running three furlongs in 37 2-ss, got 10 the end of six furlongs in 1.16 2-5. Southdown beat a companion over five furlongs in 1.7 2-5.
