McCarten owing 'to a broken rib, will be unable to ride at Randwick on Wednesday. He was to have ridden Homer in the December Stakes, for which acceptors are: Wise Boy, 8.12; Strathardale, 8.10; Gibson, 8.5; Womblebank, 8.5; Homer, 8.5; Medallist, 8.5; Silver Rose, 8.0; White Lilac, 8.0.
