Constable C. Williams said lie received a telephone message at 5 a.m. yesterday and found the accused asleep on a deck-chair on complainant's verandah. He was drunk. "I don'l know anything about it.” was llealy's reply In the Magistrate, lie was lined £l, in default seven days’ imprisonment. Three statutory first offenders pleaded guilty to charges of drunkenness, and were convicted and discharged.
