WOMEN’S DIVISION.

ELSTOW BRANCH. The children’s fancy dress ball run by the Elstow branch of the Women's Division o-f the Farmers’ Union was a pronounced success. Country and folk danoes learnt at school were danced by the children lo the enjoyment of onlookers. Miss P. Blackford played the music, Two spot waltzes for the children were won by ■Blanche Wild and Dorothy Nicol and Zelina Martclli and (Mildred Smart. Miss Admorc and Air Uostick controlled the children’s programme. At 10 p.m. the 'Children were served with a dainty supper up in the cardroom, while the adults were served at the same time down dn the hall. After supper the children were each given a bag of sweets. Soon after supper the adults took the door and danced till a late hour to music supplied by 'the Te Aroha Radio 'Band.
