YUGOSLAVIAN AFFAIRS.

BROADER-BASED CABINET. ACTION BY PRINCE PAUL 1 . United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. BELGRADE, Dec. 18. The Yugoslav Government has resigned and tlie Regent, Prince Paul, is attempting to form a broader-based Government including Opposition leaders.

It is regarded as significant that Prince Paul’s first action was to summon to a consultation M. Stanoyevic, veteran leader of the Serbian Radicals, who has been an opponent of a Royal dictatorship, and Father Koroshetz, Slovene leader, who until recently had been interned. These and other circumstances conr firm Prince'Paul’s known intention at the first opportunity to secure the formation of a Government on a broader basis. If accomplished, tins possibly will lead to the easing of the internal situation by a liberal altitude toward the Croats, besides a more peaceful attitude toward Hungary and better relations with Italy.
