MINISTER’S EDICT. TRAINING IN ATHLETICS. AN ESSENTIAL SUBJECT. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright, BERLIN, Dec. 13. The Minister of Education has Issued a decree that young pastors are not to be permitted to preach or doctors, teachers, judges, or lawyers to practise, unless they secure a certificate proving eighteen months’ training in boxing, swimming or other athletics. Third-year students must obtain similar certificates or leave tile University. The decree applies to both sexes.
