While news of the fate of the missionaries, -Messrs Hayman and Bo3Shardit, who were 'captured by Communists at Kweichow on October 9, Is lacking, news has been received by the China Inland Mission of the death of Mr John Stam, one of their missionaries, his wife and two months old child in the vicinity of Tsingteh. Mr and Mrs Stam and child were •captured by Communists who •wore fleeing before the Government troops on December 10 and their bodies were discovered oh the battlefield where apparently Red# encountered Government troops.
