THE AUCKLAND MARKET. QUIET DAY’S BIDDING. (By Telegranh—Sneclal to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. As usual, the Saturday morning bidding on ’Change was rather quiet. There was less than the usual interest in Government stocks. The 1 f)bs 4 per cent, issues were quoted ex-interest with sellers at £llO 5s and no buyers. Coal shares were again in the limelight, and offers for Pultemiros at 235, for Taupiris at 16s Gd, and for Renowns at -is Od, failed to interest holders.

Pastoral shares were quiet and Goldsbro Moris were on offer at 30. s 3d, while a buyer for River Plate had his limit at . 15s 3d. In the banking section Reserves were wanted at £6 10s 9d, but no sellers appeared. Australasias were asked for at £lO 18s and Commercials at 16s, sellers standing out for £ll 7s (id, and 16s Gd respectively.
