HOUSE AND FINANCE COMMITTEE. RECOMMENDATIONS APPROVED. The following recommendations of the House and Finance Committee of the Waikato Hospital .Board were endorsed at the monthly meeting of the Board yesterday when the chairman, Mr J. J. Ryburn, Presided:-*-That the 'Board make a grant to the Te Akatea •Miners and 'Settlers Medical Association at the rate of 2s Gd per member per month in respect of the 23 members on relief work for the period from •December 1 to March ill, J'.lilD. That the Board grant to the Pnkemiro Medical Society the same concessions as extended to other Friendly Societies regarding the rale of hospital fees and charges payable for treatment of its members in hospital. That subject to the consent of the Hon. the Minister of ‘Health, the Board grant a subsidy to Dr. A. B. dameson, of Huntly, towards the cost of. free medical treatment of members of the Untilly ‘Unemployed Workers’ Medical 'Club at [he rale of .Is 3d per member per month.
