Laval, the French Foreign Minister, has sent a telegram to Sir John Simon, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, expressing gratification at the close collaboration between the British and French Governments,., which, during the recent . In reply Sir John Simon expressed the hope that Anglo-French collaboration which 'had been so fruitful at Geneva would be continued and developed, results always as fruitful and with equal benefit to world peace.
