PUBLIC NOTICE rPAUPIRI DRAINAGE AND RIVER -*■ DISTRICT. notice of intention to strike GENERAL RATE OVER THAT PORTION OF THE MANGAWARA DRAINAGE DISTRICT NOW INCLUDED WITHIN THE TAUPIRI DRAINAGE & RIVER DISTRICT. Notice is hereby given that 'at a meeting of the Taupiri Drainage and River Board to be held at the Office of the Board, Victoria Street, (next to Public Trust Building), Hamilton, on Thursday, October 11, 1931, at 10.30. a.m., the following resolution will be moved: — That pursuant to the provisions of the Land Drainage Act, .1008; and the Rating Act, 1925, and the Taupiri Drainage & River District Act, 1029, and Amendments to those Statutes, the Taupiri Drainage and River Board make and levy on the acreage basis on lands shown on the Government Valuation Roll of that part of the Mangawara Drainage District now included within the Taupiri Drainage and River District, a General Maintenance Rate for the year to 31st. March, 1935: — On a graduated scale according to the classification of the said lands —- Upon lands classified: A—one penny and a half-penny per acre. B—three-farthings per acre. G—-three-eighths of a penny per acre. That the above-mentioned rate will become due on 31st. October, 1934, and be payable in one sum at the Office of the Taupiri Drainage and River Board aforesaid.
