This poultrykeeper had two attempts at chick rearing. On the first occasion, ho mado ono mistake. Yes! And it cost him 20 chicks out of a total batch of 36. But he quickly found it was the feeding that was at fault and changed over to the Karswood system. Result! Of his next batch of 72 chicks—72 were successfully reared. Not one died! Read his letter: — “In September, 1933, 1 bought 3 dozen day-old chicks, and all but 16 died. These birds did not get Karswood. Then 1 purchased 6 dozen day-old chicks again in October and followed the Karswood system of rearing, and lost not a single one . / have also used Karswood on my older hens for about 4 months and have had good results. My 17 hens laid nearly double the eggs they did before, which is sufficient recommendation for. Karswood in itself. — J.N." (Original letter on Ole for Inspection.)
