The meeting was held in drenching rain. Results were:— Miss J. Hammond beat Miss Susie Tolburst, one up; Mrs T. McKay beat Miss McLeod, 3 and i; Mrs Goodall beat Miss Lascelles, 3 and 2; Miss V. Ebert beat Miss Bailey, 6 and 5; Mrs Robinson beat Miss Millear, 3 and 1. TASMAN CUP CONTEST. AUSTRALIAN TEAMS. (Received Sept. 4, 2.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 4. The following teams have been selected to represent Australia in New Zealand for the Tasman Cup: Miss L. Wray (New South Wales, captain), Miss Joan Hammond (New South ) Wales), 'Miss Mona MacLeod- (Victoria), Miss Shirley Tolhurst (Victoria). The fifth member of the team will be announced laler. Miss R. Austen (Victoria) is til# non-playing manager.
