ASSAULT IN AUCKLAND.
STRUCK HIB FATHER-IN-LAW.
AUCKLAND, Tuesday. In the Police Court Ivan Matthew Dunoan, aged 26 years, labourer, was charged with assaulting Edward Hunter. He pleaded guilty. Inspector Edwards said that following an argument in a hotel on Saturday afternoon between accused and complainant, who was accused’s father-in-law, both had gone home, where complainant had been struck by accused. Accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within 12 months if called upon.
