OHINEWAI STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report having held their usual stock sab? at Ohlnewai, when a full yarding of dairy cattle came forward, with practically no alteration on late rates. Fat and store cattle were penned In small numbers. Beef, comprising mostly cows and heifers, was In keen demand, while store cattle sold at unchanged rates. Quotations. —Cattle: Best heifers, close to profit, £4 5s to £5; later calvers, £3 5s to £4; more backward, £2 to £2 15s; sound dairy cows, £2 10s to £4; inferior sorts, 25s to £2; medium fat cows and heifers, £5 5s to £6; lighter fat cows and heifers, £4 to £4 ss; killable cows, £2 iss to £3 10s; fresh and forward conditioned cows and heifers, 35s to £2 10s; store cows, 25s to 32s 6d; boners, 10s to 21s; one to one and a-half year Shorthorn steers, £2 10s to £3; young empty cows and heifers, 25s to 30s; mixed colour heifers, one year, 20s to 27s 6d.

CAMBRIDGE STOCK SALE. Messrs. Daigety and Company, Limited, report having held their Cambridge stock sale on Monday. There was a medium yarding of cattle and a full yarding of store and weaner pigs. Fat cows sold under keen competition, while good cows and heifers met with keen demand. Inferior sorts were not keenly sought after. Large store pigs sold at up to late rates while smaller sorts were not in demand. We quote: Cattle: Good quality fat two-year heifers, £4 2s to £4 17s; fat two-year Shorthorn heifers, £5 10s to £5 15s, fat cows, £3 to £3 15s; lighter sorts, £2 to £2 15s; store cows, £i to 30s; boners, 10s to 15s; best quality springing Jersey heifers, £5 to £0 10s; smaller and more backward sorts, £2 10s to £4; dairy cows, £2, £2 10s, £•5 ss. Pigs: Light weight baooners, £2 ss; porkers, 20s to 335; best stores, 23s to 275; smaller sorts, 18s to 20s; weaners, 6s, Bs, 12s Gd.
