CYCLE ROAD RACING.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. GROUNDS FOR TRACK SEASON. At a well-attended general meeting of the Hamilton Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club Mr M. Reid presided. In regard to grounds for the forthcoming track season it was decided to accept the use of Hinemoa Park and the club is to assist in the preparation of the grounds. A strong recommendation was passed that a cycle road race should he held on October 13, the distance and course being left in the hands of the management committee to be fixed. The sub-committee elected to complete arrangements for the event comprised Messrs M Reid, C. E. Goosman, J. W. Taylor and R. Powell.
