LADIES’ GOLF.

HAMILTON OLUB. ANNUAL MEETING HELD. ' The annual meeting of the Hamilton Ladies’ Golf Club was held last evening in the board room of the Fanners’ Auctioneering Company’s offices. The president, v Mrs T. G. Fraser, was in the- chair, and a large number of members attended. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: Patron, Mrs H. Douglas; president, Mrs T. G. Fraser; vice-president, Mrs H. C. Ross; captain, Mrs L. Day; committee, Mrs Hockin, Mrs Bindon, Mrs Primrose and Mrs Bartlett. A vote of thanks to the officials of the club was proposed by Mrs E. J. Means. Mrs T. G. Fraser thanked the retiring captain, Mrs A. English, and the secretary, Mrs W. M.'Horton, for the excellent work done by them during the past year. Mr R. English was re-elected auditor. Committee Meeting. Mrs. W- M, Horton was reappointed secretary-treasurer at s committee meeting following the general meeting. It was decided to inaugurate an intermediate championship for players with a handicap of 19 to 25, this to be in addition to the senior and junioi championships. A resolution was passed donating £lO to the Misses Kay and Gaisforii fund. The matter of a competition levy of 2/6 was discussed, and it was agree! that this amount should be added t® the subscription.
