TRAGIC DEATH.
GIRL EXPIRES SUDDENLY.
RESIDENT OF TE KUITI.

TE KUITI, Tuesday. A tragic death occurred last night, when Phyllis, the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. H. Dean, suddenly expired after assisting with the evening meal. Miss Dean was in the act of clearing away the dishes when she suddenly cried: "Oh, my head! Give me some medicine.” Doctors were quickly summoned, but' the patient was beyond aid. Deceased, who was In apparent good, health and was of a bright disposition, was a general favourite among a large circle of friends. She was JS years of age, and was secretary to the Methodist Young Women’s Blbl| Glass.
