CHARGE OF MURDER*
DEATH OF A WOMAN. LABOURER REMANDED. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. In the Police Court yesterday i charge of murdering .Christina Cunningham on August 16 was preferred against John Hubert Edwards, labourer, aged 41, when he appeared on remand before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M. .
The magistrate asked whether accused had been medioally examined, Detective-Sergeant O’Sullivan replying that he understood an examination been made. Accused was remanded until September 25.
