NEW SEASON OPENS. ~ > PLAY ON HAMILTON GREENS. RESULTS OF SATURDAY'S GAMES. Favoured with a fine day, and with the greens in perfect order, the 1933 bowling season was successfully inaugurated by the Hamilton and Hamilton East Clubs on Saturday afternoon. There was a big gathering of players at both clubs, including many new members. On the Hamilton green pairs were played in the ordinary draw, the games resulting as follows: — Evans, Bell (s) 21, Little, Chapman (s), 19; Sims, Stevenson (s) 27, \V. R. Roberts, Pile (s) 21; Grigg, Robinson (s) 22, Parker, Yeaman (s) 21; F. Roberts, llawken (s) 20, Conradi, Piilkington (s) 20; Murchic, Crawshaw (s) 3-1, Hall, Masters (s) 14; Plummer, Anchor (s) 23, Redmond, 11. Coombcs (s) 12. Play at Hamilton East. A large number of players participated In the opening games of the Hamilton East club's season. Prior to I lie start of play Hie president, Mr S. V. Tyler, made a brief speech, re-
marking that it was gratifying to see ■that among the players were fourteen first-year members, while others had been nominated.
