BRIGHTER CRICKET.
CANTERBURY PROPOSAL. ONE-DAY MATCHES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The Canterbury Cricket Association has deolded to call a special meeting of delegates to discuss the introduction of one-day competition" matches, instead of two, and the awarding to the fielding side of one run for every maiden over bowled, as urged in proposals by Mr W. H. Wlnsor, with the idea of making a brighter game.
