trading position encouraging. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. At the annual'meeting of the Kaiapoi Woollen Manufacturing Company Mr A. McKellar, chairman of directors, said that the trading position of the ’company as revealed by the accounts was more encouraging, although the prollt was not large. Wholesale prices had continued at a very low level, and traders were lining requirements with small purchases frequently made. Vigorous competition had occurred throughout the year. The payment of tlio preference dividend was approved.
