FURTHER GAIN MADE. LONDON MARKETS FIRM CHEESE PRICES STEADY. REPORTS FROM MERCHANTS. To-day’s advloes from London t received by marketing organisations in New Zealand Indicate another substantial rise in the price of butter, whloh Is now firm at 102 s. Chebse Is .also firm and steady.
The New Zealand Producers’ Cooperative Marketing Association Ltd., has received the following cable from London:—Butter is firm, and cheese steady. .New Zealand butter, 100 s to 102 s; Danish, 120 s. Cheese: Whits, 535; coloured, 545. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, hais received the following cablegram from. London dated September 15: —Butter is 2s higher than theJast quotation of 100 s.
