SPECIAL EXCURSION.
WELLINGTON TO AUCKLAND. EXPRESSES WELL PATRONISED. Two very well patronised special expresses from Wellington passed through Frankton Junction between 8.30 a.m. and 9 a.m. to-day on the way to Auckland. The Railway Department organised the trip from Wellington to Auckland iretum at a cheap excursion rate to enable rugby football patrons in Wellington to see the annual match between Wellington and Auckland at Auckland to-day. The demand for seats was unprecedented and two special trains were run. The Wellington visitors will spend ttie weekend in Auckland, leaving again for Wellington at 4 p.rn. to-morrow.
