SCOUT MOVEMENT.

INTERNATIONAL JAMBOREE. ASSEMBLAGE AT BUDAPEST. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON, Aug. 1. The Budapest correspondent of the Times states that 32,000 Scouts from 34 nations are due to arrive at Godollo for the opening of the World Jamboree to-morrow. There are large contingents from Empire countries, including New Zealand and Australia; also Americans, Russians and Italians. The only notable absentees are Germans, whose organisation! has been suppressed. The Soouts are camped In the •shadow of the historic castle in Royal Park, formerly the seat of the Kings of Hungary, lent by Admiral Ilorthy, the Regent, who is the present occupier.

The camp consists of 300 acres of land on which are -woods and lakes. A township has sprung up, including a market square, a cinema theatre and a radio station.

The Scouts have cut many roads through the forest. Their guides are trained in 14 languages.
