Copyright, LONDON, August 1. from Prague, Czechoslovakia, state that a terrible panio occurred when a church In the village of 'Zubrohlava, Slovakia, was struck by lightning while the members of the congregation were sheltering from a thunderstorm after Mass. Charred bodies s were found with their hands clinging to the altar rails. Two more were hanging on to the rails at the side of the altar. These were the only victims of the lightning.

A number of other casualties occurred - : during the panic, however. They are' attributed to the savagery of the men.

Eighteen women and children, but npt a single man, were found trampled upon. Eight of them died subsequently and the remainder were seriously Injured.
