TOURNAMENT AT WANGANUI
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Tuesday.
The second annual tournament of the North Island Licensed Victuallers’ Golf Association was played here yesterday. The trophy winners were:— Championship, J. N. Anderson (Hawera); Beil Rose Bowl, J. Wholey (Wellington); president’s trophy, W. Manley (Wanganui); Wanganui Licensed Victuallers Association Cup, S. G. Simmons (Wanganui) ; Nancarrow Cup, S. K. Siddells (Pahiatua); MenEies Shield, N. Hlgglnson (Okorolre); Walker and Hall Trophy, N. Higginson; D.C.L. Shield, M. J. Ivyne (Wanganui) ; Johnston and Co’s. Trophy, J. R. Foster (Auckland). The Wholesalers v. Retailers competition was won by Wholesalers.
