LATE MR J. WALLIS.
FUNERAL AT KAIPAXI. The funeral of the late Mr J. Wallis took place at Kaipaki on Sunday afternoon, the deceased being laid to rest in the Fukerimu cemetery. The cortege consisted of over -iO cars. Leaving his tale home, it proceeded lo the Kaipaki Church, where the llrst part of Hie burial service was conducted by the Rev. U. C«. Bell, Vicar of Cambridge, who also officiated at the graveside. There were many beautiful floral emblems, testifying to the esteem in which the deeased- was held, amongst them being tributes from the Kaipaki Ladies’ Guild, the Kaipaki Women's Institute and the Kaipaki Sunday School children.
