THE AUCKLAND MARKET. QUIET MORNING’S BUSINESS. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. After yesterday’s substantial turnover, business on the Stock Exchange was quieter this morning. Though the bidding was fairly steady in the banking section, the only noticeable alteration was in New Zcalands, which were firm with trading at £2 Bs. The recent easing tendency in South Ri’itisii Insurance was confirmed with sale (kl lower at £3 7s 9d. The mining division attracted a good deal of attention, and Alexanders were in demand at 18s, and Blackwaters at £1 ns Gd, with steady bidding for the miscellaneous issues. Government stocks showed little change. The 38/52 and 39/52 issues of 3£ per cents were quoted ex interest with buyers’ offers back to £99 . as. SALES RECORDED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
