JPRESHFIELD DRAINAGE BOARD. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE RATES. Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Board to be held at the residence of Mr F. T. Williamson, Puketaha, on Tuesday, 18th July, 1933, at 7.30 p.m., the follow resolution will be moved:— That in accordance with statutory powers conferred upon it, t'he Freshfleld Drainage Board make and levy on the rateable capital value of all rateable property shown on the Government Valuation Roll of the Freshfield Drainage District the undermentioned General Rates for the year ending March 31, 1934: — 1 On a graduated scale according to the classification of the lands: MAIN DISTRICT: Upon lands classified “A" one and one-eighth of a penny in the pound; on lands classified “B" nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound; on lands classified “C” nino-thirtyseconds of a penny in the pound. SOUTHERN DISTRICT: UpCtn lands classified "A” one-halfpenny in the pound. . , . The above-mentioned rates to be for the period commencing Ist April, 1933, and ending 31st March, 1934, and to be due and payable in one sum to t'he Collector on and after 7th Ratepayers within the SOUTHERN DISTRICT are notified that the Special Rate of one and One-eighth of a penny in the pound on the rateable capital value of all lands classified “A” within that District will also be due on and after 7th August, 1933.
