ADDINGTON MARKET. At the Addington market on Wednesday the values of fat sheep were: Prime heavy wethers to 24s 4d, prime heavy 20s to 225, medium weight prime 17s 6d to 19s 6d, ordinary 15s to 17s, light fOs to 14s 6d, extra prime 'heavy ewes 'to 20s 7d, prime heavy 15s 6d to 17s 6d, medium weight prime 12s 6d to 15s, ordinary 9s to 12s, light 5s to 8s 6d. Fat Cattle. —There was an entry of 495 head. Values generally were easier by up to £l, but very best beef made late rates. Especially good ■beef made 23s per 1001 b ~ good prime 15s to 20s, heavy-weight and medium 11s to 15s, good cow and heifer 13s to 17s, secondary 7s to 11s, rough, down to 6s. Values were: Extra prime heavy steers to £lO 7s 6d, prime heavy £7 to £8 10s, prime mediumweight £6 to £B, ordinary £3 5s to £5 10s, light 27® 6d to £2 15s, extra prime heifers to £8 12s 6d, prime £4 to £6 10s, medium £2 10s to £3 10s, light 27s 6d to £2 10s, extra prime cows to £6 7s 6d, prime £3 10s to £5, medium £2 to £3 ss. light £1 to £2. Fat Pigs.—A small entry met with a good demand. Bacon prices were firmer. Values were: Baconers 38s 6d to 47s 6d. heavy baconers 52s 6d to 60s. extra heavy to £3 5s 6d; average price per lb 33d to■ 4Jd; porkers 18s to 23s 6d, heavy 25s 6d to 32s 6d, average price per lb 3|d to 4Ad.
